How Do The Ingredients In Zantrex 3 Work?

Caffeine- The bitter, white crystalline xanthine alkaloid caffeine is found in tea, coffee, soft drinks, chocolates, pain relievers, and a variety of over the counter medications. It is a psychoactive stimulant drug that causes increased alertness by stimulating the central nervous system. For the same reason, many people feel more energetic after consuming it. It even elevates the mood but these effects do not last for long. The effects of caffeine usually last for about five to six hours, though caffeine sensitivity varies from person to person. It has been found that people who consume lot of caffeine on a daily basis soon develop less sensitivity and may need to increase their intake to enjoy the same effect. Being a diuretic, a person consuming caffeine may have to urinate more often.
Cocoa Seed Extract, which is standardized for caffeine, tyramine, phenylethylamine and theobromine. Cocoa seed extract is thought to possibly help speed up the metabolism and provide feelings of fullness.
Damiana ~
Gota Kola, also known as hydrocotyle, centella asiatica or indian pennywort. Gota Kola is commonly used for wound healing, and improved mental function. The most active constituents are the triterpene saponins, which include asiaticoside, brahmoside, brahminoside, brahmaic acid and madecassoside.
Green Tea Extract, a bioflavonoid rich, potent extract used primarily for fighting free radicals. It contains a high content of polyphenols, which are a class of bioflavonoids. Green tea extract contains a potent antioxidant, EGCG, which is over 200 times more powerful than vitamin E in neutralizing the pro-oxidants and free radicals that attack lipids in the brain. Green tea extract helps with thermogenesis and aids in the metabolism of fat. Green Tea has been used for years as a powerful antioxidant, it may also be helpful in shedding fat. The most obvious benefit to dieters is that it works without increasing the heart rate most often found in diet aids. The increased heart rate leaves dieters jittery and eventually, most dieters stop using the supplement and gain weight back. Now through using green tea extract, dieters get the weight loss benefits without any of the jittery effects, especially in obese individuals with hypertension and other cardiovascular complications.
Guarana- The active constituent of guarana is caffeine, which means that it should not be used alongside ephedrine as either a dietary aid or in order to stimulate performance. The American Food and Drug Administration has not tested its effectiveness or its purity as they do not class it as a drug. Guarana has many other names including Brazilian cocoa and may be a constituent of non alcoholic drinks imported from South America. Because of possible adverse reactions it is not recommended for anyone with a heart condition or who has kidney disease, high blood pressure or who suffers from anxiety.
L-Theanine is very commonly found in tea and is an amino acid, biochemically related to glutamine. The psychoactive properties of theanine are derived from the ability to cross the blood brain barrier. It has been proven that theanine can reduce stress, promote relaxation and improve alertness and mood when imbibed together with caffeine, a natural combination found in any tea, especially green tea. Gamma-aminobutyric acid levels are increased, when theanine is ingested or imbibed, as are serotonin and dopamine levels. It is believed that l-theanine is aiding the immune system by strengthening the capacity of delta T cells. Laboratory tests have proven that blood pressure reduction and lowering of 5-hydroxyindoles in the brain are promoted by theanine.
Maca Root ~
Niacin is a vitamin that wards against pellagra, a disease characterized by a vitamin B3 deficiency. Niacin is made from pyridine and is often called vitamin B3 or nicotinamide, because they all three have similar formulas. Niacin and nicotinamide are comparable in make up, but only niacin works to lower cholesterol levels. The restoration of DNA is also known to be a positive side effect of taking niacin. A fairly large number of individuals, particularly those in third world countries or those suffering from alcoholism, have been shown to be lacking in niacin. Niacin is often taken as a supplement by those with high cholesterol levels, as it has been proven to lower “bad” cholesterol and raise “good” cholesterol.
Panax Ginseng, also called Korean Ginseng, it is the most commonly used ginseng. Panax Ginseng is an adaptogen believed to help "balance" the body and lower stress. Panax Ginseng may also help regulate the immune system.
Piper Nigrum(Black Pepper)~
Schizonepeta~
Thea Sinensis - All kinds of tea are made from the same evergreen plant called Thea Sinensis, the most popular varieties being Camellia sinensis and Camellia assamica. It is the growing region (climate, altitude and soil) and the method of processing that give each tea its characteristic taste. Due to the fluoride naturally present in the tea, it has been found that drinking tea can guard our teeth from decay. The cardiotonic, stringent, diuretic, and stimulant effect of leaves stimulates the nervous system giving a feeling of comfort and exhilaration. Of course, excessive consumption of tea can lead to unnatural wakefulness, indigestion, palpitations, and constipation. Thea Sinensis leaves can be used internally for treating diarrhea, dysentery, gastroenteritis, and hepatitis. Thea Sinensis leaves can be also be used externally as a poultice or wash for treating insect bites, bruises, cuts, swellings, and burns.
Tibetan Ginseng~
Yerba Matte- The plant of the yerba maté, as yerba matte is actually called, is a small tree or a shrub which can grow up to a size of fifteen meters. The leaves and twigs have traditionally been used to brew a tea like concoction, which is still a very popular social beverage in South America. Yerba maté contains alcaloids that are very similar to caffeine, commonly referred to as xanthines, but also elements like manganese, magnesium and potassium. The main difference between yerba maté and coffee, for instance, is the effect it has on muscle tissue, where it appears to relax smooth muscle tissue, but stimulate heart tissue and that is why it is used in Zantrex 3 . In other studies, yerba maté was found to work as a monoamine oxidase inhibitor, thereby professing antidepressant qualities.
